Zespri Science Scholarships

Any student intending to begin a Bachelor of Horticultural Science at Massey University are eligible for this scholarship, especially those interested in the kiwifruit industry. It is worth $5000 per annum (total of $15,000), and will be paid out for each year of your degree if your academic performance remains high.

HortNZ offers new, additional $10,000 Postgraduate Scholarship

Horticulture New Zealand (HortNZ) is offering a new, $10,000 scholarship in 2020. The scholarship is available to people undertaking postgraduate study in horticulture or related fields.

The HortNZ Board decided to offer this scholarship to support people undertaking higher study because innovation and tackling challenges head-on is critical to the industry’s future success.

$4500 Undergraduate Scholarships

HortNZ is again offering undergraduate scholarships in 2020. These are to support people undertaking undergraduate study in horticulture or related fields.

These scholarships also include complimentary attendance at the Horticulture Conference 2020 at Mystery Creek, Hamilton, between 29-31 July (costs covered include registration fees, conference dinners, accommodation and travel).

$500 Industry Training Scholarships

These scholarships are available to industry trainees studying towards a certificate or diploma. They provide assistance and acknowledge the achievements of those studying and working at the same time.
